Reya is supernatural being living in the other realm. She is the ruler of this realm, hence known as Reya's realm. She was once the master of Adriel.

Throughout the series[]

Reya can be seen for the first time when Ava puts the Crown of Thorns on her own head and has visions of herself in the other realm, where she meets Reya. She can also be seen when Adriel has wraith demons drag her from her realm through the Arc fully powered by FBC crosses. After Adriel is killed by the Tarasks, she calls them off instead of ordering them to take the Halo back from Ava, then returning to her world.

Her face can also be seen on a footage from a camera Lilith had on her suit when Dr. Salvius sent her on the other side through the Arc. There is also a flashback of Reya giving the Crown of Thorns to Areala of Cordoba.

Behind the scenes[]

In an interview with Screen Rant, showrunner Simon Barry described Reya as being an idea from Season 1 regarding Adriel's flight. He wanted to plant the seed of there being a political hierarchy within the other realms and having Reya personify this and be a representative of a bigger universe that viewers hadn't seen yet.[1]
