The Order of the Cruciform Sword otherwise known as OCS, is the top-secret Catholic military organization built to support The Warrior Nun’s demon-fighting missions. The OCS is made up of Warrior Sisters who fight alongside the Warrior Nun, despite their lack of supernatural powers.

The members of The OCS are devout women who have dedicated their lives to fighting an ancient evil.

History and Foundation[]

Areala of Cordoba was a fierce warrior who was devoted to God and spent her lifetime fighting in His name. According to legend, Areala was gravely injured in battle during the First Crusade. The Angel Adriel came down from heaven to heal her because her journey was not complete.

Because of the severity of her injuries, the only way for Adriel to save Areala was to place his Halo within her body, which healed her and gave her supernatural abilities. Adriel encouraged Areala to create an Order to train other women to fight against evil. No one would know these womens' faces or names; they would only be known by the collective symbol: a silver cross made from the hilt of a sword. And so it came to pass that the Order of the Cruciform Sword was born.

Purpose[]

The OCS is meant to fight against evil on Earth. Their mission include fighting terrorists, mercenaries and demons. When there is an outbreak of wraith demons somewhere, the OCS can help eliminate the demons and protect the population. Their expertise is also needed when someone is suspected of being possessed. The OCS is in charge of protecting divinium relics such as the Holy Armor. They can occasionally be ordered to retrieve relics that legitimately belongs to the Church, even if meaning breaking into private property. The OCS is also in charge of protecting the Halo, considered as a holy relic and providing the Warrior Nun with the ability to see wraith demons and other powers.

Locations[]

The OCS is originally based at the Cat's Cradle, before moving to a new location following the return of Adriel.

There are also chapters in various locations around the world, such as London, England. In a map showing all the locations, it is revealed that the order has several branches outside Europe: Canada (Vancouver), the US (East coast), Mexico, Caribbeans, Argentina (Buenos Aires), South Africa (Cap Town), Egypt (Cairo), India (New Delhi), Singapore, Korea.

The OCS usually uses secret places, for example in Madrid their headquarters are in the basement of a florist shop and they also use the basement of the Ciné Dore in Madrid, a former resistance base during the Spanish civil war. They may also hide in other convents of nuns.
